Artillery weapons are a distinct armament class in IIslands of War.

Artillery weapons face upwards and fire in an arc. This makes them quite difficult to use casually, but they reward a patient user with excellent damage outputs and the ability to wreak havoc on enemy buildings. Less patient Island pilots might elect to use them to attack enemy Islands by flying under them and firing upwards.
Crystor is quite unique, as it's the only weapon that can fit in 2 categories (artillery and crystal).
