Shields

Shields are a building available in IIslands of War.

Overview

Shields are some of the most useful buildings in the game, capable of generating a protective barrier that will absorb incoming projectiles. Shields deploy at a fixed distance from the island and will always engage projectiles. This allows you to weather down enemy islands... but the same applies to you! Note that once broken, a shield overloads and requires time to regenerate. They are particularly vulnerable to large volleys of eg. missiles, which can take down a fully charged shield in moments.
